Text from Allison, the primary president after church- In sharing time today I told the children we were going to play a game. Emma raised her hand and in her most serious tone said; "but we don't play games in church" it made me laugh :)
I responded-Haha that makes sense now! Emma and Alli both came home saying their teacher said they can play video games on church day lol
Allison- Oh no! Haha! We just played a little board game about service and drawing closer to Jesus....so unless that's what their video game is about... ;) lol
Me- No we've been talking about what games are ok on Sunday (church day) they just got confused
Love these girls. Want to remember this experience. Jason asked this morning why we don't play video games on church day and I said because we want to make Sunday special, not like every other day. We have to remind ourselves why we do what we do instead of letting everything we do be about "silly traditions".

Another Emma story. She's in kindergarten this year learning to read. She writes words the way she hears them- my sesr sed i can pla video games (my teacher said i can play video games). So one day she was pretending to be a puppy. On her own Fur Real Friends puppy dog there is a collar with the initials FRF. She told me her pretend puppy name is Frf. Pronounced exactly like what is said on the collar lol. Funny girl.
